Ragdoll Cat
Three Cats Playing

stray cat alliance

Our website was designed to find happy homes for cats in need. We observed that the Stray Cat Alliance website wasn’t meeting their expectations for adoption rates and donation goals, which was causing a strain on their resources. How might we incorporate better UI designs to improve the trustworthiness and navigability of the website, so that we can attract more volunteers and place more cats in their FUREVER home.

User Research

SC research.png

- We conducted 5 user interviews.

- Conducted usability tests on the existing webpage.

- Created a google survey.

Key findings:

- Users were most concerned with the trustworthiness and credibility of nonprofits

- The current webpage does not look inviting or friendly, which is something my team felt was important for an animal non profit webpage!

We wanted our navigation to be easy and straightforward. We focused on the adoption process, as well as scheduling an appointment with the cats.
